TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that coverage is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
