The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
