Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But factor into your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
